PASTORS TEACHING PROGRAM

1. Pastors receive credit for their experience.( Pastoral Experience: 30 Credits)
2. Pastors can Teach Courses to their Congregation/others during: Bible Study, Ministers Training Program, Workshops, Seminars or Conferences at their church or other location.
3. Courses must meet the 45-48 hour requirement per semester.

Required Schedule Examples:

*One day weekly for 2-3 hours (14-16 weeks)
*Twice weekly for 2 hours (10-12 weeks
*4 hour days for 12 weeks
*8 hour days for 6 weeks

4. The Congregation can take as degree course or not.
5. Requirements for Congregants participation in degree program:

*Must complete Enrollment Application
*Pay Tuition Fee of $165.00 less 50% ($82.50)
*Must purchase textbook(s)
*Must complete all assignments and pass course with a 65%

6. Course Credit to Pastor

*3 Credits per 45-48 hour course.
*No tuition fee while teaching a course.
*Instructor’s Book/Lesson Plan can be loaned out for a 12 Week Period from SMIBC (call for extension).
* Pastors can take In Classroom (IC), Correspondence and On-line (when available) Courses for 50% off, only if they are actively teaching in the “Pastors Teaching Program.”
*Must be registered and accepted into the program.
*Must have or scheduled to teach their congregation.
*Registered as a Cooperative Church Program ($100.00 donation).
